TITLE: International Enrollment Recruiter

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The International Enrollment Recruiter works as a member of the Admissions team to promote the university by working directly with prospective students in the enrollment process.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the Assistant Dean, Enrollment Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, International Relations, Business or related field

* Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Competencies in Microsoft Office Suite

* Ability to prioritize

* Be self-motivated

* Be detail oriented

* Be service oriented

* Valid Driver's License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* PeopleSoft software experience

* Hobson's software experience

COMPENSATION: Includes a salary of $30,000 - $35,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience; and a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including employer-paid full-family coverage health insurance, TIAA retirement, tuition waiver benefits and much more.



LOCATION:
Dickinson, ND

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

* Assist in identifying target markets

* Contact applicants and help them complete the admissions process.



* Maintain proactive communication with prospective students utilizing a variety of mediums including but not limited to:
Email and Facebook.

* Make phone calls, send e-mails, and compose letters to prospective students.

* Enter applicant information in Hobsons and PeopleSoft as required by process.Track applicant process through the admissions funnel.

* Answer phones utilizing best practices in customer services.

* Submit completed applications for approval and acceptance decisions.

* Assist with formulating policies, procedures and best practices for admitting International and Permanent Residents.

* Notify student when the admission process is complete.

* Assist in sending I-20 documents as needed.

* Perform High School and College visits as well as participate in online recruitment activities.

* Assist in Pre-departure orientation for accepted students.

* Represent Dickinson State at face-to-face and online outreach events.

* Assist with New Student Orientation.

* Perform admissions visits.

* Create a welcoming environment for prospective students, parents, and the university community

* Answer questions or refer visitor to the appropriate resource.

* Respond to request for information packets.

* Update database in Hobson on transfer/freshmen students.

* Assist office personnel with time sensitive projects.

* Set up and tear down DSU displays for various university functions.

* Assure compliance with completing travel documentation and expense reimbursement vouchers from travel within a reasonable time frame of returning from travels.

* Enter data from the prospect cards received at college fairs, high school/community college visits, or any other events into Hobson's (Connect).

* Respond to inquiries utilizing the communication plan in Hobson's.

* Utilize social media/technology to maintain communication with prospective students.

* Attend professional development opportunities.

* Answer prospective student/applicant questions utilizing the CRM and PeopleSoft.

* Document student interaction in the CRM.

* Other duties as assigned.

Term: 12 months

Status: Full-time (100%), benefitted, exempt (from FLSA overtime)
